Thank you for the prompt delivery which I received yesterday. But after a night of charging, the battery does not retain its charge. After I unplug the USB cable, it runs for <2 minutes and no more power. Please advise. Tx.

May I know how do u charge your Clip MP3 player overnight? Do u charge it via the 60cm USB cable and plug it to a RUNNING PC/Laptop ?
Please note that, your PC/Laptop must be running and should not let it go into SLEEP mode if not it's USB Port will likely NOT supplying any current to charge the Clip MP3 player.

Hi,

Please charge it directly to a USB Port of a RUNNING PC/Laptop. As that type if iPhone charger may not be suitable for charging this Clip MP3 as the output current use by Clip MP3 is smaller and your that type of charger may not be supplying current to charge as it "think" that it is already FULL when it is not.

  the format thing i have aready solve it :) Just that may i know why when i charge my mp3 though the AC charger it show a red light for about 4-5hours and it still red light it did not show a green light so how do i know it's fully charge?

Hi,

The AC Wall charger has a RED and GREEN LED. The RED LED will always ON when your wall socket is supplying power to the AC CHarger. Whileas, the GREEN LED will show GREEN initially when MP3 battery is totally flat, as MP3 battery is gradually charged up, the GREEN LED will dim off gradually, sometimes, it is dim off like 10min later, but rest assured it is still charging.

Just leave it there to charge for 2~3 hrs will be sufficient.

For CLIP MP3 player, there is no standardised indicator for fully charged status.

As a rule of thumb, just charge it via mini-USB cable to a USB port for 3 hrs maximum should be sufficient.

There is no instruction for this simple device.

However, we do state on our Qoo10 item webpage that u should charge it for abt 5hrs for initial charge, thereafter subsequent charge should be 2~3 hrs via USB cable to a running PC's USB port.
