FAQ Hi, I don't quite get the expiry date. The numbers I see are 16208 4411. This is etched on the baby mild Castile soap 473ml. Seller

Hi, these batch has its 4 digit lot code starting from the 2nd digit i.e 6208. The bottle is manufactured on 208 day of 2016 (27 July 2016). Dr Bronner's recommends that their products be used 3 years from date of manufacture. That makes the best before date for your bottle to be 27 July 2019. Castile soap are actually self-preserving but may start to lose strength and fragrance over time.

FAQ What's the Expiry Date of the Soap? Seller

The best before date can be derived from the "lot code, a number that appears printed or etched on the packaging, near the bottom just below the label. The first digit refers to the year (i.e., “3” is 2013, “4” is 2014, etc.), while the next three digits refer to the Julian Date (i.e., the day of the year out of 365 total days). So, for example, if the first four digits of a lot code number are “4064,” then that means the product was manufactured in 2014 on the 64th day of the year (Mar 5th). You can see a Julian Date calendar at http://landweb.nascom.nasa.gov/browse/calendar.html Dr Bronner's recommends using their body care products within three years of manufacturing. Soaps are self-preserving, but because our products are biodegradable, it’s best to not leave them on the shelf for too long, as they may start to lose strength.

Hi which is suitable for small pimples on the face, dead skin cells and clog pores? Will I get outbreak when using it?

[Re] Inquiry for the item from cha****
Hi, a natural scrub to remove dead skin will be leftover almond pulp from homemade almond milk :) lavender, tea tree, baby mild unscented are all recommend for acne, even eucalyptus and peppermint works too for some. If skin is dry or sensitive, try out baby mild first. Skip peppermint and tea tree if skin is of dry type.

It is common for our skin to have more breakout for the first few weeks as the soap cleanses the skin. However if skin becomes red and itchy after using, stop using as it could be due to an allergy to the essential oil or one of the ingredient.

Which one is good for body acne?
And can I use the soap for.hair loss?

[Re] Inquiry for the item from cha****
Hi, try tea tree for body acne. If you find tea tree drying, then try out lavender or baby mild. Don't think the soap will cure hair loss though.

My gal always got small pimple back of body and also front near the shoulder, small small type.
Can this cure? Which one to buy?
Thanks

Pls advise

[Re] Inquiry for the item from ang****
Hi, if the pimples are due to hormone changes, the soap is not going to solve the problem but at least we don't aggravate the situation and add more stress to the skin. Nevertheless, do try out lavender, tea tree which is good for acne. If skin is dry or sensitive, try baby mild unscented. Drink more water and have enough rest :)

Hi,
May i know for 9 years old with eczema..which one will u recommend?? I m considering on the lavender one but kinda unsure where is suitable for kids..please advise..
Thank you

[Re] Inquiry for the item from spi****
Hi, lavender is a good choice, as I think it will smell better to children compared to the other two you can consider, tea tree and baby mild. Tea tree has a bit of antiseptic smell but has received many good feedback from others with eczema. If skin is dry and sensitive, can consider baby mild unscented which does not contain any essential oil. Will also recommend to get a foaming pump bottle for kids use. Do remember to keep soap out of eyes as soap is not tear-free.

You may also want to look into applying for him coconut oil or Sea Berry Seed Oil. Do let us know if you like us to include a sample of the Sea Berry Seed Oil.

Thank you for your recommendation.. i will drop u a note after i put in my order... i wld like to try sea berry seed oil on my boy.. thanks alot..

By the way..how is the feedback of using the lavender one on eczema skin??

[Re] Inquiry for the item from spi****
Hi, I usually recommend to try out baby mild, lavender and tea tree for eczema. As everyone's condition is different, will need to try and see which works best for your son. There are reviews that said peppermint works for them too. But I usually won't recommend peppermint for young children as a body wash. While my 7 years old loves it as a hand wash as it smells really nice, he don't like that cooling effect that peppermint have on the body.
