You are always welcome.
1) It lasts at least 2 months in the original glass pot. If you transfer it to a pot with soil, it will last as long as the natural life of the plant of your choice.
2) Different from lawn grass, if does not grow again aftre trimmed. Well, the plant stops growing taller after reach its maturity. Hence, there is no need to trim it. The picture is a typical shot of matured plant.
3) As mentioned above, it does not grow back.

I know it looks delicious, but it is not edible. Sorry about that.

Thanks for your interest. You need to plant it from seeds. Generally, it takes less than 10 days for the seeds to sprout after first watering.
