I wanted to purchase your mini cooker so that I can bring it over to cook my son's porridge. But I saw one user post that the water will overflow if too much water added. Is it possible not to close the cover while cooking? May I know the weight of the mini cooker? Thank you.

This is not a pressure cooker
So if put a lot of water ,overflowing is natural
we've already test brown rice
but it's not suitable because to brown rice properly cooked requires more water
