Googling that error message turned up a few mentions on the input/output resolution not matching between the TV and phone. In this case, you can try toggling the settings on your TV, between 720p/1080p mode. Do search around for other suggestions if that still doesn't work. Thank you!

There is no reason why it would not fit on the Note 2. It's a standard MicroUSB port and there are no other variations. You probably need to press the plug slightly harder into the port.

The cable can be inserted to my note 2 port and it wouldn't hold at all, one slight move and your cable will drop.

The connector is noticeablely longer than my original note 2 micro usb csble also. you may see the attached.

  Hi, could you help me out with this, I am not good at this stuffs. First, I got my HDMI that biggest head plugged into the TV already, than I connect my charger with the adapter and charge it? Lastly, the last wire cannot be plugged into my galaxy S4??
Could you teach me how to do it if I am doing all this wrongly.

There are 3 ports on the cable you received. One is the HDMI port, which goes to your HDTV directly. There's also one MicroUSB port for connecting to your phone. As for the last port, you connect your charger to it. Does that make sense to you? If not, do drop us an email and we'll explain further. Thank you!

No, these MHL cables are only for devices with a MicroUSB port. The Galaxy Tab series doesn't use one unfortunately.
