I am using a Philips iron GC-1710, which I think is the same model as in your demo.

However, from the video, I don't see any spring on the iron. Can I know how did u manage to put it on the iron without putting the spring on the iron handle?

You may try to remove the spring from the small ring at the side, loop it over the iron and then re-attached the spring back to the ring:)

The spring is very tight so I decided to let it stay on the handle.

But few days later my maid removed it, cos she said she took long time to iron.... :(

Are you using steam iron? The teflon cover work best with steam iron. If yours is normal iron, turn the temperature to the highest and let it stands for about 5 minutes. The heat would have penetrate the cover to aid the ironing;)
